Set in the late 80’s in Rio de Janeiro, based on a true story, brand new TV hour HBO Max Latin America and Morena Filmes produced drama Oxygen Masks will (not) drop automatically tells the story of a group of flying attendants smuggling AZT from ny to Rio to save the life of many HIV positive patients when the Brazilian government and regulation would not authorise access to the new medication either by ineptitude or prejudice. The show will broadcast in the summer on HBO Max and premiered at Berlinale TV Series Select 2025 in February.
